Open Studio at Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass is an opportunity for people who have taken at least one formal class through our studio and feel confident and comfortable working independently. Art Activity Days are not considered a formal glass studio class. Must be 16 and up to register for open studio.

Participants will be able to come in at their chosen time, work with a studio employee for about 10-15 minutes, then allowed to work independently. Open Studio is priced by project size and students make take up to the full 2.5 hours allotted to create their artwork. Artwork can take between 2-3 weeks to be fired.

A $5 non-refundable deposit will reserve your spot in an open studio session and be subtracted from the price of the artwork you create. Should a participant show up more than 5 minutes late, they forfeit their spot in that open studio session and their $5 deposit.

Member discounts do not cover the non-refundable deposit but will be added in for the final price. Students will pay for their completed artwork when picking up artwork.
